You Never Know is a project developed in collaboration with Sapienza Università di Roma, Universidade de Lisboa, and the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction as part of my Master's Thesis. The goal of the project was to create a communication strategy that minimizes the negative outcomes related
to drug use.

Concept and branding
The project name "You Never Know" refers to the inherent uncertainty of knowing the composition of illicit substances and the potential consequences they may entail.

As an initiative rooted in Harm Reduction, the logo incorporates five primary elements: the band-aid and cross, symbolizing healing; the heart, representing empathy towards individuals struggling with addiction; the pill, encompassing all mind-altering substances; and the dice, symbolizing associated risks.
Ad campaign
The advertising campaign developed for the launch of You Never Know centers on the idea that illegal drugs contain unpredictable and potentially lethal substances.

The visuals depict the commonly used cutting agents found in these substances, ranging from household products like laundry detergent to car oil and acetone.
